HONG KONG, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong Hang Seng Index rose 426.06 points, or 2.08 percent, to close at 20,861.30 on Thursday.

    Turnover fell to 69.03 billion HK dollars (about 8.92 billion U. S. dollars) from Wednesday's 75.06 billion HK dollars (about 9.69 billion U.S. dollars).
