    BEIJING, Aug. 5 -- Pandas are all the rage this summer in Beijing.

    A selection of panda dolls and costumes have been selling like hot cakes among Beijing's youth, China News Service reported.

    The dolls, which include panda boys and girls, brides and grooms, were created by a group of young people who have returned from their studies abroad. The designers plan to promote their brand "Panda Town" as the new "Chinese Barbie".

    The costumes also include western-styles to "panda" to international tastes.
