BEIJING, Aug. 3 (Xinhuanet) -- Mark Wahlberg has finally married longtime girlfriend, tying the knot in LA, according to media reports Monday.

    The ceremony took place at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Beverly Hills Saturday, which has been a gathering place for the glitterati's life-changing moments for the weddings of such stars as Elizabeth Taylor and Nicky Hilton, Loretta Young and Tom Lewis and Rachel Hunter as well as for the final farewells of Rudolph Valentino and Frank Sinatra, reports said.

    The 38-year-old actor, who's currently filming "The Fighter" in Lowell, Boston looked sharp in a dark suit while the 31-year-old bride wore a white strapless Marchesa dress with silver embroidery and a Neil Lane diamond-and-platinum cushion-cut ring complemented by a diamond bracelet and earrings during the 45-minute ceremony which united the couple in marriage after an eight-year romance, reports added.

    The couple have three kids: Ella Rae, 5, Michael, 3, and 10-month-old Brendan Joseph.  

    Wahlberg and Durham may go on a honeymoon eventually, but not right away. The actor formerly known as Marky Mark is headed back to Lowell to finish work on "The Fighter," director David O. Russell’s film about "Irish" Micky Ward and his half-brother Dicky Eklund.
