COLOMBO, Aug. 2 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed by a hand bomb explosion in western Sri Lanka, the police said on Sunday.

    The police at Baduraliya, about 48 km south of the capital Colombo, said the explosion occurred Saturday night in a jungle patch in the rural part of the Western Province near Baduraliya.

    Another seriously wounded woman was admitted to the hospital, the police said.
