MEXICO CITY, July 31 (Xinhua) -- The Mexican foreign ministry said on
Friday that ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya will visit Mexico next week
as invited by Mexican President Felipe Calderon.
The ministry said in a communique that Zelaya will arrive in Mexico on Aug.
4 to discuss with Calderon the situation in Honduras.
Calderon and Zelaya, who was exiled by a military coup on June 28, will
also discuss the mediation process led by Costa Rican President Oscar Arias,
"which has a strong support from the international community."
The Mexican government "condemned since the first moment of the coup" and
"it has repeatedly expressed its total support to the constitutional government
led by President Jose Manuel Zelaya," the ministry said.
