BEIJING, July 30 -- After a 7-day medical
observation, 44 pupils from the Hailukong Special Training Camp in Beijing were
released from A/H1N1 quarantine Tuesday afternoon.
Soundbite: Mr. Li, official at the Hailukong Special
Training Camp "The health bureau began to release pupils at 9 a.m. and after all
the pupils left, we closed the camp at 3 p.m. The temperatures of all the
students are normal now."
The Beijing Health Bureau reported last Saturday that
36 students at the camp were confirmed to have A/H1N1 flu. All had left the
hospital by Monday.
A series of training camps had been scheduled for the
summer, but Li said they would not start another one soon.
Sound bite: Mr. Li, official of the Hailukong Special
Training Camp "We won't start another camp for this series. We feel a lot of
pressure from this incident, and decided that we should not start the camp again
right away."
