KATHMANDU, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Nepali Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal on Wednesday administered the office of oath and secrecy to newly appointed Minister for Environment, Science and Technology Thakur Prasad Sharma on Wednesday.
The ceremony was held at the President's Office in Nepali capital Kathmandu, at the presence of President Ram Baran Yadav.
Thakur is the leader of the Communist Party of Nepal (United). After the induction of Thakur the number of cabinet members, including ministers and ministers of state, totals 33, however the cabinet is yet to be given its full shape.
Prime Minister Nepal, the senior leader of the third largest party in the Constituent Assembly, the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist), was elected the new prime minister of the federal democratic republic on May 23, after the fall of the government led by Chairman Prachanda of the Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist).
