New Zealand's influenza A/H1N1-related death toll rises to 13

    WELLINGTON, July 28 (Xinhua) -- The number of death related to influenza A/H1N1 in New Zealand rose to 13 on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health said.

    The figure is up from 12 on Monday, with the latest death involving a woman in her 30s in Wellington.

    The number of confirmed influenza A/H1N1 cases was now 2,704 on Tuesday, compared to 2662 on Monday.

    Health Minister Tony Ryall said while that appeared to be the case, there were still high rates of flu in New Zealand and 22 people were listed as being in intensive care.
