A/H1N1 flu death toll rises to 27 in Chile

    SANTIAGO, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Two more deaths related to A/H1N1 flu were reported on Tuesday in Chile, adding the death toll to 27, said Chilean health authorities.

    One of the patients was a 87-year-old female who was hospitalized on June 25 and died of pneumonia. The other case was a male at the age 53 with Down's Syndrome.

    Till Saturday, Chile had 9,549 confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases, said a report from the Public Heath Institute.
