    BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhuanet) -- David Arquette and his wife Courteney Cox have confirmed to be reprising their roles in "Scream 4," according to media reports Wednesday.

    "We're going to be doing 'Scream 4'," David Arquette told E! Online. "Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct."

    Rumors about Cox and Arquette's return had been circulating for the past month since the pair appeared in the previous three scream films.

    In the original film series, David Arquette portrayed police deputy Dewey Riley, while Courteney Cox portrayed sensationalist TV reporter Gail Weathers.
