MOSCOW, July 14 (Xinhua) -- A 19-year-old man has been reported as the
fourth A/H1N1 flu case of Russia, said Russian Chief Public Health Official
Gennady Onishchenko on Tuesday.
The man had just returned from Ibiza, Spain, and was hospitalized directly
from the airport, the Itar-Tass news agency reported.
He ran a mild fever and received all the necessary medications, said
Onishchenko.
The previous two H1N1 flu cases reported in Russia have recovered,
according to previous news reports.
The World Health Organization (WHO) in June formally announced that the
H1N1 flu had developed into a pandemic. So far the virus has caused more than
90,000 infections in some 137 countries and regions, with more than 400
deaths.
