BELGRADE, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Croatia reported on Tuesday four new cases of
A/H1N1 flu, including the country's first domestic infection, which brought the
total number of infections to 14 in the Western Balkan nation.
The four new cases all have mild symptoms, a Croatian Health Ministry
spokeswoman was quoted as saying by the Croatian news agency HINA.
She said that one of the infected persons is a woman infected by her
daughter, who contracted the disease on a study tour abroad.
This is the first time A/H1N1 flu has spread from one person to another in
Croatia.
Of the 14 patients so far confirmed, 10 have been cured, according to the
spokeswoman.
The first case of A/H1N1 flu in Croatia was confirmed on July 3,in a
60-year-old woman who had returned from a trip to Australia.
