Indian PM to visit Egypt, France next week

    NEW DELHI, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Indian Minister Manmohan Singh will leave on Monday for a visit to Egypt and France, the semi-official Press Trust of India reported on Sunday.

    During his stay in Sharm-el Sheikh in Egypt, Singh will meet his Pakistani counterpart Yousuf Raza Gilani on July 16 on the sidelines of a Non-Aligned Movement summit, said the report.

    The Singh-Gilani meeting comes less than one month after Singh met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari in Yekaterinburg in Russia.

    During his stay in Paris, Singh will discuss with French President Nicolas Sarkozy issues ranging from bilateral nuclear cooperation to situation in South Asia and Afghanistan, according to local media reports.
