WELLINGTON, July 11 (Xinhua) -- The number of confirmed deaths in New
Zealand from influenza A/H1N1 rose to seven on Saturday, up one since Friday,
the Ministry of Health said.
The latest death involved a man from east North Island's Taranaki region,
who had tested positive for the new strain of flu virus and died last week.
Doctors said he had also suffered "underlying medical condition."
The cumulative cases have reached 1,555 in New Zealand so far.
