HANOI, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's Ministry of Health confirmed three more A/H1N1 flu cases, raising the country's tally to 262, local newspaper the New Hanoi reported Friday.
All the three newly confirmed cases are in the southern provinces of
the country, said the ministry.
So far, 221 patients have recovered and been discharged from
hospitals. The rest are being treated in hospital, all in stable condition.
According to the heath ministry, the country has not found any case
of A/H1N1 virus mutation resistant to Tamiflu. But to prepare for this case, the
ministry has reserved Relenza medicine which can also be used to treat A/H1N1
influenza.
Vietnam has
reported no death in connection with the disease.
