BEIJING, July 7 (Xinhuanet) -- Technological sources in Asia suggest that the Apple iPod may be getting a camera.

    One technological website, TechCrunch claims Apple has already placed orders for a camera module for the next version of the iPod. Other pointers to the potential upgrade are that new cases for the device show a hole where a camera might be.

    Rumors have persisted before, and Apple won’t confirm anything.

    Only the iPhone currently possesses a camera in all of its models. Its latest version, the iPhone 3Gs, boasts a 3 megapixal device as well as video capture and editing software which also enables users to upload video clips to YouTube.
