WELLINGTON, July 6 (Xinhua) -- Cook Islands Ministry of Health said it has
confirmed its first case of influenza A/H1N1, Radio New Zealand International
reported on Monday.
A Cook Islander, who has lived in New Zealand for the last three months,
arrived in the capital of Rarotonga on June 27. He later was tested positive to
the virus.
The Ministry of Health has contacted passengers seated two rows ahead and
behind the patient and given information.
It said that follow up for the patient's family members and home quarantine
measures have been undertaken.
