TEGUCIGALPA, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Honduras' post-coup government has ordered that any plane carrying deposed president Manuel Zelaya will be prevented from landing, de facto foreign minister Enrique Ortez Colindres told a domestic radio station on Sunday.

"With the support of the president and the armed forced, as foreign minister, I have given instructions that the plane not enter the country," he told HRN radio. He added that the Civil Aviation Directorate has instructions not to allow any such plane to enter the country, "no matter who comes in it".

He said that order had been sent to all the nation's airports.

"We are telling the world so that no president of the republic nor any ordinary Honduran die simply because of an organization's whimsy," he said.

Zelaya, who was forced to leave Honduras by soldiers a week ago, told media on Saturday that he would return to Honduras on Sunday at noon. Zelaya announced his decision came immediately after a meeting with the Organization of American States (OAS).

On Sunday, Ortez said that Honduras' goal was to avoid any bloodshed that might take place when police apply the current international arrest warrant against Zelaya. Ortez said last week that the nation had sent an arrest warrant to Interpol for Zelaya. Interpol said that the organization has received no such document.¡¡
