Singapore confirms more cases of Influenza A/H1N1

    SINGAPORE, July 4 (Xinhua) -- Singapore on Saturday confirmed 34 new cases of Influenza A/H1N1, bringing the total number of such cases to 1,003 in the country.

    According to a statement issued by Singapore's Ministry of Health on Saturday, of the cumulative number of 934 cases investigated so far, there have been 541 local cases and 393 imported ones.

    Singapore reported its first confirmed case of Influenza A/H1N1on May 27.
