BEIJING, July 2 (Xinhua) -- China's trade figures continued to fall
year-on-year in June, but the rate of decline eased over the May figure, vice
commerce minister Chen Jian said here Thursday.
Chen told a news conference that in the first half year certain products
rebounded. However, he did not give more details about trade data.
In the first five months, China's trade fell 24.7 percent from a year
earlier, with exports down 21.8 percent. The May figure for exports was down
26.4 percent year on year.
