Thai naval conscript dead with flu A/H1N1 virus

    BANGKOK, June 29 (Xinhua) -- A Thai naval conscript died in connection with flu A/H1N1 infection on Monday morning, raising the country's death toll to three, according to Thai News Agency.

    On Sunday, the patient's condition worsened as blood came from inside his lung, Doctor Rewat Wisarutwej, director-general of the Medical Department, was quoted by the news agency as saying.

    Doctor Rewat also said the country had 41 new cases of the flu, which brought the country's total number of confirmed cases to 1,330, according to a report on the website of the newspaper The Nation.
