    DALIAN, Northeast China, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Olympic canoeing champion Yang Wenjun extended his winning streak by adding two victories at the 11th Chinese National Games Canoe and Kayak (Flat water) qualifiers here on Friday.

    Yang won the men's C1 500m in one minute and 50.95 seconds, beating Huang Shaokun of Fujian and Ma Xiaojie of Beijing to the second and third places respectively in 1:52.14 and 1:53.74.

    Later, Yang moved another step further by notching the gold of the men's C2 500m with his partner Zhang Zhiwu in 1:39.43. Li Qiang and Huang Maoxing of Guangdong took the silver in 1:42.19, while Xia Zhigang and Zhao Jian of Shandong settled for the bronze in 1:43.34.

    Yang also lifted the title of men's C2 1000m on Thursday.

    The qualifiers attracted 446 athletes from 22 teams, while 15 boats of each event will battle at the 11th China's National Games.
