BEIJING, June 23 -- Hong Kong Department of Health said there were 28
newly confirmed cases of influenza A/H1N1 in the 24 hours up to 2:30 p.m. (0630
GMT) Monday.
This brings to 348 the total number of influenza
A/H1N1 cases in Hong Kong, said the spokesman of the department.
The new cases involved 21 males and seven females,
aged between nine and 53.
Meanwhile, Po Leung Kuk Celine Ho Yam Tong College in
Wong Tai Sin has been advised to suspend classes for 14 days.
The spokesman called on parents to pay attention to
the health condition of their children, and to remind them to observe good
personal and environmental hygiene.
