BANGKOK, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's Public Health Ministry on Monday
announced 69 more patients, who are confirmed to have caught the A/H1N1 flu
virus, bringing the country's total number to 774.
Of the new confirmed cases, some 14 were still treated at hospitals in
Bangkok, Public Health Minister Witthaya Kaewparadai said.
Also, among the new confirmed cases, a woman, who admitted at Siriraj
Hospital in Bangkok, was severely suffering from the illness due to pneumonia,
the website by The Nation newspaper said.
Witthaya said he was most concerned that 61 of the 69 new cases are
students, the Bangkok Post's website reported.
Thailand had its first two confirmed patients on May 12.
