HONG KONG, June 18 (Xinhua) -- Forty-nine new
influenza A/H1NI cases were confirmed in Hong Kong on Thursday, bringing the
city's tally to 221, Hong Kong's Department of Health announced.
The department said that six of the cases are imported
while 28 are local. Classification of the other 15 cases is still
pending.
The new cases involved 22 female and 27 male aged between one and 55. All of them are in stable condition and have been admitted to public hospitals for medical treatment.
