BEIJING, June 17 -- A hill myna bird has become a feathered star at a housing estate in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, as it can sing.

The bird has been bringing laughter to spectators whenever its owner takes it outdoors for fresh air.

The owner said he has taught the myna to sing the song for the last six months. To teach the bird to sing and speak, the 73-year-old man used a recorder to teach it.

In addition to singing the song, the hill myna can recite ancient poems.
