BEIJING,
June 16 -- A series of China-made planes and missiles have gone on display at
this year's Paris Air Show.
The air show comes amid tough times for the
recession-hit airline industry and in light of unanswered questions over the
crashed Air France jetliner.
China's latest L-15 jet trainer and air-to-air
missiles are among the exhibits displayed by the Aviation Industry Corporation
of China, the country's major airline manufacturer.
The 48th Paris Air Show opened Monday at Le Bourget
Airport, north of Paris. It will last until Sunday. The century-old exhibition
is one of the most influential air shows in the world.
