TEHRAN, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Iranian incumbent
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has won the 10th presidential election with the
majority of votes, the official IRNA news agency reported on Saturday.
By getting more than 75 percent
of votes in the rural areas of the
country, Ahmadinejad determinately wins the election, the IRNA said.
The report came just minutes after Iran's reformist
candidate and former Prime Minister Mir-Hossein Mousavi called himself "definite
winner" in the presidential election.
"According to the information we have received, I am
the definite winner in this presidential election," Mousavi told a news
conference late Friday in Tehran.
Iran closed the polling stations at 22:00 p.m. (1730
GMT), but voters who have already queued up were allowed to cast their ballots.
Polling stations across Iran opened Friday morning
for a closely fought presidential election which pitted Ahmadinejad against
three other candidates.
TEHRAN, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Iranian incumbent
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is heading for victory in the 10th presidential
election, according to the information of Iran's Interior Ministry on Saturday.
Ahmadinejad has gained 64.31% of the votes after 94%
of the ballots have been counted, while reformist candidate, former Prime

TEHRAN, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Fazel Nikzad, an engineer
in his 30s, waited in a queue at a large polling station in northern Tehran with
his red-covered birth certificate in hand, Iranians' major ID card required to
be presented at the voting for the next president of the Islamic Republic.
"I came here first, and my family will come later to

debate at the United Nations if re-elected as Iran's president, the
