TEHRAN, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Voters are actively casting
their ballots in Iran's presidential election at polling stations throughout the
country which started at 8:00 a.m. local time (0330GMT). Long queues are seen at

Iran's Mousavi, Ahmadinejad's

TEHRAN, June 11 (Xinhua) -- In a letter to Iran's Supreme
Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Iran's presidential hopeful Mir-hossein
Mousavi sought for "healthy election," the local satellite Press TV reported on
Thursday.
Mousavi, as the main challenger to the incumbent
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, requested the Leader to take measures aimed at
protecting the vote, ensuring a healthy election and also to intervene and
advise all officials to remain impartial in the Friday election, the report

Ahmadinejad said here Wednesday that the upcoming presidential elections day
will be a "bigger no" to his rivals, the official IRNA news agency reported.
"With God's grace, the nation will say a bigger no to
the enemies (some rivals), thus throwing them to the abyss of history,"

TEHRAN, June 10 (Xinhua) -- Iran's President Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad said that he would invite the U.S. President Barack Obama to a
debate at the United Nations if re-elected as Iran's president, the
semi-official Fars news agency reported on Wednesday.
"I want constructive interaction on justice and
respect and if I remain in the post, I will invite President Obama to a debate
in the venue of the United Nations General Assembly," Ahmadinejad said in an
