    BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhuanet) -- The fame-loving heiress Paris Hilton is about to make her first trip to Dubai to shoot an upcoming edition of her reality series "Paris Hilton's My New BFF." 

    Producer Michael Hirschorn said Wednesday that filming will begin later this month and last some three weeks. The finale will be filmed in Los Angeles.

    As in the previously filmed U.S. and British versions of the program, the show will revolve around a group of contestants trying to win Hilton's affection and the title of her "best friend forever" or "BFF" by using text-messaging lingo.

    Lions Gate Entertainment Corp will distribute the show internationally, and the program will likely air in the Arab countries and possibly in the U.S. on cable channel MTV or on the TV Guide Network, which is owned by Lions Gate.

    Hilton wants to expand her brand in the Arab world, said Hirschorn, adding that the plan is to build "My New BFF" into a global franchise.

    Hilton, 28, is the daughter of Rick and Kathy Hilton of the Hilton hotel family, and is a favorite of the paparazzi everywhere.
