MEXICO CITY, June 2 (Xinhua) -- Mexico's Health Ministry Tuesday raised the death toll from the A/H1N1 flu to 103 and raised the number of confirmed infection to 5,563.

Six more deaths have been confirmed since Friday, an official statement said.

Nearly 40 percent of those who died had already been suffering from obesity or sugar related diabetes before the flu struck, and more than 19 percent also had heart diseases, the ministry said.

All of the 32 states of Mexico have flu cases, and Mexico City remains the worst-hit with over 1,800 cases.

The World Health Organization said the virus has so far caused nearly 19,000 cases of infections in 64 countries and regions, including 117 deaths.
