SEOUL, June 3 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's health authorities confirmed one more case of A/H1N1 flu virus infection on Wednesday, raising the number of confirmed cases to 42.
The authorities said that a 16-year-old male student, who had returned from his studies in the United States, showed symptoms similar to the flu and thus went through close examinations.
With the recent new cases, South Korea's A/H1N1 flu confirmation toll stands at 42.
Of the total cases, only nine still remain in quarantine with the rest being released in good health.
No death case has been reported in South Korea due to the A/H1N1 flu.
