    BEIJING, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Following are the latest facts released by the Ministry of Health Thursday about the influenza A (H1N1) epidemic in the Chinese mainland.

    Confirmed cases: 5 as of 12:00 p.m. May 21 (one in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, one in Jinan, Shandong Province, two in Beijing and one in Guangdong Province)

    Suspected cases: 0 as of 12:00 p.m. May 21

    Three patients in Beijing and Guangdong were in stable conditions and reported normal body temperature at the hospital.

    Among 93 passengers having close contacts with the Guangdong patient on board of train T810, 86 were put under quarantine so far.
