The "Night at the Museum" star - who is married to
actress Christine Taylor - is jealous of his daughter Ella, seven, and son
Quinlan, three, because humour comes so naturally to them.
He said: "The bond they share with their grandparents
is a wonderful back-and-forth. They're always laughing. They call their
grandfather Mr. Kineeche.
"I don't know why - they make up silly names and they
stick. So when he comes over, he announces himself, 'Mr. Kineecheee is
heeeeeere!' in some weird accent."
Even though the 43-year-old actor's comedic brood can
entertain themselves, his "dad jokes" still make them smile.
He explained to Parents magazine: "As a parent you do
anything to make your kids laugh. And I don't think that has to do with being
professionally funny. It's just being a dad."
Stiller has been away from his family promoting his
latest film "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" and is looking
forward to spending Father's Day with his Christine and their children next
month.
He said: "I'm looking forward to sleeping late and
hanging out with the family. My kids are just getting to the tie age.
"That's when you feel like you've actually become a
dad - when you get that official Father's Day tie."
