BEIJING, May 12 (Xinhua) - Jiang Jiemin, Chairman of PetroChina Company Limited, said Tuesday that PetroChina plans to raise 100 billion yuan (14.71 billion U.S. dollars) through debt financing in 2009 to support major strategic projects including oil exploration and development, oil refining and overseas business.

    The financing plan is waiting for permission of the annual shareholders meeting held on Tuesday.
