Top DPRK legislator visits Singapore

    SINGAPORE, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Kim Yong Nam, the top legislator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), kicked off a three-day working visit to Singapore on Wednesday.

    According to Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kim will be calling on Singapore's President S R Nathan and be hosted to dinner by the President.

    This is the second working visit to Singapore by Kim in his capacity as the President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly. Kim last visited Singapore in August 2007.
