PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad and Tobago, April 19 (Xinhua)-- U.S. President Barack Obama on Sunday denied any U.S. involvement in an alleged assassination plot against Bolivian President Evo Morales.

    "I am absolutely opposed (to) and condemn any efforts at violent overthrows of democratically elected governments," Obama said at a news conference after the closing of the Fifth Summit of the Americas being held in the Caribbean twin island state of Trinidad and Tobago.
