    BUDAPEST, April 16 (Xinhua) -- Hungarian Prime Minister Gordon Bajnai has officially formed his new government, government spokeswoman Bernadett Budai said in a statement on Thursday.

    The new government will hold its first session on Friday to discuss crisis management steps, Budai said.

    Hungarian News Agency MTI reported that President Laszlo Solyom has appointed 14 ministers according to prime minister's proposal.

    Bajnai nominated 15 ministers on Tuesday. Tamas Vahl, candidate to head Economy Ministry withdrew on Thursday due to his involvement in a cartel. Bajnai will nominate a new minister for the post in a week.

    The ministers will take their oaths of office next Monday.
