SEOUL, April 5 (Xinhua) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) confirmed that its "communications satellite Kwangmyongsong-2" launched on Sunday has successfully entered into orbit, South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported.
"Our scientists and technicians have succeeded in sending communications satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 through the carrier rocket Unha-2 into orbit according to our national space development project," the state-run Korean Central News Agency said.
