BEIJING, April 3 -- The 42-year-old
actress - who already has one-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela with boyfriend
Gabriel Aubry - is open to the idea of expanding her brood, but won't allow
herself to become fixated with the idea.
She told US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "My mind
says yes, but the rest isn't up to me so we'll see."
Despite Gabriel's previous admission he wants a "big
family", Halle has no desire to have a huge brood.
Referring to mother-of-14 Nadya Suleman, who famously
gave birth to octuplets in January, Halle joked: "I hope I don't have, like, 14
more!"
Last October, Gabriel, 32, praised Halle's parenting
skills and claimed the pair were "working on" having more children.
He said: "I mean, look at her - she is unbelievable!
She is the best mom that anybody could ask for - or wish for!"
Halle - who has been married twice - and Gabriel have
been dating since 2005 after meeting on a Versace photo shoot.
Despite planning a future together, the pair are in
no rush to wed, with Gabriel saying: "We have no plans for marriage. We are more
married than ever, really."
