JAKARTA, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Seventy-seven people
have been killed and 102 others gone missing after a dam collapsed on Fridayin
an outskirt city of Jakarta, Head of crisis center of Health Ministry Rustam
Pakaya told Xinhua on Saturday.
Over 50 others have been wounded, Pakaya said.
The dam burst caused flooding and swept away eight
houses and damaged 300 others as well as submerged over 700 buildings, he said.
Among the damaged buildings were
school and mosque, said Pakaya.

"The fatality is expected to rise, as there are many
people still unfound," he said.
More than 700 residence had to fled their home and
lived in shelters or other buildings, said Pakaya.
A dam of Situ Gintung in the outskirts of Jakarta
burst on Friday caused by overflow of water after a heavy
rain.

JAKARTA, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian rescue workers on Saturday morning
resumed searching for victims of a devastating flash flood that have killed at
least 58 people and submerged around 400 houses after torrential rain caused a
dam to burst in Cirendeu, Tangerang, Banten on Friday.
The police sent at least 332 personnel in a search and rescue team, along
with rubber boats. Banten Provincial Red Cross also deployed 100 personnel to
help the search, the Jakarta Post daily quoted the National Police spokesman
Abubakar Nataprawira as saying on Saturday. Full story

JAKARTA, March 27 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono
has instructed Social Affairs Minister Bachtiar Chamsyah and Health Minister
Siti Fadilah Supari to help victims of a flash flood caused by the bursting of
Situ Gintung Dam at Cirendeu, Tangerang, southeast of Jakarta.
"I have asked the social affairs minister and the health minister to do
whatever the government can do to help the flood victims," Antara news agency
quoted the president as saying on his way from Bandung to Serang, West Java
