Malaysia to issue stamps featuring wedding attire

    KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Malaysia will issue special stamps and first-day covers featuring traditional wedding attire on Monday, its post services company Pos Malaysia said here on Friday.

    The stamp, which is the company's third collection this year, is aimed at giving members of the public the opportunity to know the Malaysian arts and cultural heritage, Pos Malaysia business development and philately marketing manager Yasmin Ramli said at a news conference.

    The first-day covers are sold at 0.30 ringgit (0.08 U.S. dollars) each while the first-day covers and stamps at 2.80 ringgit (0.77 U.S. dollars) each and stamp books at 3 ringgit (0.82 U.S. dollars) each, Yasmin said.

    "Collectors can also purchase the folders at 5.50 ringgit (1.51 U.S. dollars) each and the complete set at 21.30 ringgit (5.85 U.S. dollars each in selected post offices," she said.
