JAKARTA, March 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake that measures 5.7 on Richter
Scale struck eastern parts of Indonesia on Friday morning, but no damage or
casualty was reported, the country's meteorology agency said.
The quake rattled at 09:03 Jakarta time (0203 GMT) with epicenter at 217
kms northwest Saumlaki of Maluku province and at 102 kms in depth, an official
of the agency said.
