ISLAMABAD, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- Militants killed two persons in Pakistan's tribal areas on charges of spying for the United States, according to local press reports.

    The body of an Afghan national was found Monday near the roadside in the Spinwam area of Miranshah, North Waziristan. A note found near the body said that he had been spying for the United States.

    The bullet-riddled body of a tribesman, Rafiq Khan, was found from Gongat Jawar area in the Bajaur agency.

    The notes found with the bodies said that anyone spying for the United States would meet the same fate.

    Meanwhile, U.S. special envoy to South Asia Richard Holbrooke arrived Monday evening in Islamabad for a two-day visit.
