BANGKOK, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva is scheduled to visit Japan from Feb. 5-7 to lead a road show to restore confidence among Japanese private sector.
According to the Government Public Relations Department website, the premier will attend a bilateral meeting and a banquet with his Japanese counterpart at the prime minister's office.
Prime Minister Abhisit will chair a meeting between the Thai team and members of Japan-Thailand Parliamentarians Friendship League and deliver his address at a seminar titled "Thailand: Directions in Economy, Tourism, Trade and Investment."
Abhisit will also witness the signing of MOU between the permanent-secretary for the Thai Industry Ministry and the chairman of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
The premier will be accompanied by his entourage comprising Deputy Prime Minister Korbsak Sabhavasu, Foreign Affairs Minister Kasit Piromya, Tourism and Sports Minister Chumpol Silpa-archa, Commerce Minister Pornthiva Nakasai, Industry Minister Charnchai Chairungrueng , and Minister Attached to the Prime Minister's Office Virachai Virameteekul, the website reported.
