    BEIJING, Jan. 30 -- The traditional Chinese Spring Festival which takes a holiday for one week has driven the tourism industry in Tibet Autonomous Region, southwestern China. Alone in 2008, the region has absorbed 2.2 million tourist arrivals from home and abroad with a tourism revenue of 2.24 billion yuan and is expected to receive 3 million tourists in the new year.
