    GAZA. Jan. 21 (Xinhua) -- Israel has partially reopened on Wednesday three key Gaza border crossing points to allow humanitarian aids, cooking gas and fuels into the Gaza Strip, a senior Palestinian official said.

    Nasser al-Sarraj, deputy minister of the Palestinian ministry of economic in the West Bank said Israel informed the Palestinian National Authority that it decided to partially reopen three Gaza crossing points with Israel.

    "Two commercial crossings, Kerem Shalom, Karni and the fuels depot of Nahal Oz were reopened today to allow food supplies, humanitarian aids, cooking gas and fuels," said al-Sarraj.

    He added that 111 food-laden trucks will cross through Kerem Shalom Crossing into southeast Gaza Strip, and 60 other trucks loaded with fodders and wheat will cross through Karni east of Gaza City.

    Al-Sarraj also said that Nahal Oz fuels depot was reopened to allow cooking gas and industrial diesel to re-operate the main Gaza power plant that has been stopped during 22 days of Israeli military offensive on Gaza.

    He added that this is the third time that crossings were partially reopened after Israel declared a unilateral ceasefire in Gaza on Sunday predawn. Around 7,000 Palestinians were killed and wounded during the offensive.

    Humanitarian organizations in Gaza said that around 35,000 Palestinians became homeless; most of them are still staying at schools run by the United Nations (UNRWA) all-over the Gaza Strip.
