BEIJING, Jan. 16 -- A festive mood is tangible in
China. The abundance of temple fairs, theatre dramas and art performances shows
people are embracing an assortment of celebrations, both traditional and modern.
In Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning
Province, people have revived the old-fashioned temple fair of the 1920's. Folk
activities are held against a backdrop of traditional neighborhoods.

other options, including theatre.
