WASHINGTON, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- The teams of U.S. President-elect Barack Obama and President George W. Bush jointly conducted a terrorism response drill at the White House Tuesday, ABC News reported.

The mock terrorism attack exercise includes improvised explosive devices hitting transportation, infrastructure and economic targets in numerous U.S. cities, according to the report.

The two teams first conducted an orientation session at the Situation Room, the nerve center of the White House.

Following that, the teams headed across the street for a two-hour disaster exercise in a large room of the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

Attendees are senior officials from both teams, including cabinet secretaries, national security advisers and anti-terrorism officials.

Bush will leave office on Jan. 20, the day Obama is inaugurated. ¡¡
