WARSAW, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Polish President Lech Kaczynski said Tuesday he will discuss the Russian-Ukrainian gas conflict with his Czech counterpart Vaclav Klaus on Thursday.

Presidential Minister Mariusz Handzlik said the president will pay a several-hour visit to Prague Thursday.

Asked by Radio ZET on Tuesday whether he is disappointed with the EU's stand on the suspension of Russian gas deliveries to Ukraine, President Kaczynski said there is "a problem of an extremely soft policy towards our Russian partner."

Kaczynski added that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will also be among issues to be discussed during his meeting with Klaus.

According to Handzlik, Kaczynski-Klaus talks are also to focus on the Czech EU presidency and Polish-Czech bilateral relations. During the short visit President Kaczynski is also scheduled to meet with Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek.
